Lead time
Hi! Our standard lead time is 7–10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Every label is hand-cut and every piece inspected before it leaves the studio — we'd rather take the time and get it right.

We aim for day 7 whenever we can, and we'll keep you posted as your order moves along 🙂

Our studio is in Diliman, Quezon City 🙂 Do not give the exact address yet, unless the concern requires it (pickup, courier dispatch, etc.).
Do you ship overseas?
Yes! We ship to Asia, Australia, Canada and the USA.

Product Inquiry

Materials, lids, jars, spouts, labels — the questions customers ask before they buy.

Is it okay to wash the lid / wood?
Yes, the jars are safe to wash — the labels are water and oil proof.

For the wood lids, wash is fine too — just wipe them dry with a clean towel right after. Don't let them air-dry with water sitting on top, as that can strip the wood treatment we use to prevent mold and mildew 🙂

Requesting a specific shade of lid.
Our Acacia lids are cut from natural wood, so no two are exactly alike — that's part of the look 🙂

(If the customer requested a specific shade) We've noted your preference and we'll do our best to pick the darker shades for you. Just a heads up though — because the wood is natural, we can't promise they'll all be an exact match.

What's the difference between Acacia and Bamboo lid?
Acacia lids (Madrid, Marrakech, Burgundy, Napa Big Bertha) are a richer, darker tone — handsome with warmer kitchens. Bamboo lids (Osaka, Okinawa) come in a lighter, paler shade — they read fresher and more Scandi 🙂 Best to provide a photo.
Are the jars safe around hot places?
Yes — our jars are made from thermal-shock-proof borosilicate glass, so they hold up to high heat and sudden temperature changes much better than ordinary glass. Safe to keep next to the stove while you're cooking, and noticeably more durable overall.
Loose Lids?
That's by design! Our screwcap jars use a double-lock mechanism — they keep contents fresh longer and double as childproof caps.

To open: press the cap down, then twist. Without the press, the cap turns freely without opening 🙂

Do you have Silicone Lids?
Yes, we do! Our Tuscany jars and all our Bins use silicone lids.

They are airtight, but we generally recommend screwcap jars for anything you'll keep long-term — silicone softens over time, and very determined ants can still find their way through it. For sweet or pantry items especially, screwcap is the safer bet 🙂 Silicone lid items: Tuscany jars, all of our Bins.

What's the difference between screwcap and silicone lids?
Screwcap jars are significantly more airtight — the cap threads create a proper seal that silicone can't match.

You'll see ridges along the cap. Once screwed on, neither air nor pests can get through 🙂

Do you sell pumps / spout / lid only?

Are labels free?
Yes! Labels come free and fully customizable with every jar purchase 🙂
Are labels waterproof?
Yes — wash away! Our labels are water and oil proof, so your decanters can go in and out of the sink without any issues 🙂
Oh no! Labels are not applied properly
No worries at all — our labels are repositionable, so you can lift and re-stick until they sit exactly where you want them 🙂
Why do I need to apply the labels myself?
Great question! We keep handling of every piece to a minimum as part of our sanitation standards, which is why we ship the labels together with the jars rather than pre-applied — that way they go on cleanly, in your hands.

If you'd rather we do it for you, we offer Label Application as an add-on at ₱50 per label. Just let us know and we'll add it to your order 🙂

Can I change / revise my labels? (Already processed)
Just checked — unfortunately your labels have already been printed, so we can't make changes at this stage. So sorry about that.

If you'd like to add a fresh set with the revised wording, we can prepare them as a follow-up shipment (free labels, you'd just cover the separate shipping fee). Let us know how you'd like to proceed 🙂

Can I change / revise my labels? (Not yet processed)
Good news — your labels haven't gone to print yet, so we can still revise them. Just send over the changes you'd like and we'll update the order 🙂
Can I write on the label?
Yes, absolutely — our labels are write-on friendly 🙂
Can I customize pre-made labels?
Pre-made labels come ready-printed, so they can't be customized — sorry about that! If you'd like custom wording, our designer label sets are the way to go.
Can I see the labels before paying / printing?
Of course — we'll ask our designers to prepare a mockup and send it over for your review before we print anything 🙂
Why doesn't your Puglia have a cover? Do you have a covering for Puglia?
Our Puglia was designed open-spout on purpose — the narrow tip makes a clean, controlled pour, and the sand-blasted neck keeps the spout secure on the bottle. We've used ours for years without any cover and never had an issue with smell or insects.

If you'd like a bit of extra peace of mind, a small piece of cling wrap over the spout tip when not in use does the trick 🙂

Can insects enter Puglia spout?
In practice, no. We've personally used Puglias for over a year and never had an issue — and the same goes for our customers, we haven't had a single report of insects getting in.

Can you recommend something to cover Puglia Spout?
A small piece of cling wrap or foil over the spout tip does the trick — quick to put on, easy to lift off when you need to pour 🙂
Will it smell if I leave Puglia without cover?
Hi! No, they don't — the spout opening is too small for any noticeable smell to escape. But if you'd like extra reassurance, a piece of clear cling wrap over the tip when it's not in use works perfectly 🙂
Can Puglia hold ketchup / oyster sauce?
Sadly no — ketchup and oyster sauce are too thick for the Puglia spout to dispense. Puglia is designed for oils, vinegars, and thinner sauces. For thicker condiments, our Tuscany or Madison decanters with wider openings would work much better!
What is the white part of the Puglia?
Good eye! That's the sand-blasted portion of the glass — it locks the spout securely onto the bottle neck so it won't detach during use.

It looks white when dry but turns clear once the contents are inside. Both our Puglia and Verona oil cruets are designed this way 🙂

I'm not sure what to put on the labels yet. Can I leave it blank?
Try to send the Label cheat sheet from the website first.

Of course — we'll note that down for you. If anything comes to mind later, just message us and we'll get it sorted 🙂 If the customer still insists on a blank label, proceed.

I don't know what to put on the labels yet. Can you deliver it later on?
Yes, totally fine! Just place the order for the jars first and write "labels to follow" in the custom-instructions box at checkout.

Once you've decided on the wording, send us: • Your order number • The list of labels you'd like

And we'll prepare your free labels right away. The only thing to note is the separate shipping fee for the label delivery 🙂

Difference between Marrakech, Madrid and Osaka?
Different jars for different jobs!

Marrakech — open jar, best for spices you measure or pinch by hand (sea salt, whole peppercorns, dried chilies) • Osaka (bamboo shaker lid) and Madrid (acacia shaker lid) — for powdered spices, dried herbs, and seasonings you shake straight onto food

If you're outfitting a full spice shelf, Marrakech + Madrid pair beautifully — same warm wood family, two different functions 🙂

Will Vienna spoon fit Marrakech jar?
Vienna spoons fit all our Acacia jars except the spice jars (Marrakech) — those have a narrower opening 🙂
Why are the jars / decanters not symmetrical? Not the same height?
Each of our bottles is handblown, so no two pieces are exactly identical — slight variations in symmetry and height are part of what makes each one its own. It's a characteristic of artisan glass rather than a defect 🙂 Ask for a photo to make sure the difference is not far from each other.
Discoloration of jars
Our bottles are made from borosilicate glass, which resists discoloration well. If dark liquids leave a faint film over time, a bottle brush and a warm-water soak should bring them right back.

For long-term care, we recommend giving the bottles a fresh wash each time you refill them — that keeps everything looking and tasting clean 🙂

Can you leave Seville Valet / Serving tray in the bathroom?
You can — but we'd suggest wiping it dry right after any contact with water. Left damp for too long, the wood treatment can wear off, and the gold-brushed steel handles can react to moisture over time.

A quick towel-dry after each use keeps it looking new for years.

Can I leave Vienna spoon with salt?
We'd actually recommend against that — salt can react with the spoon's finish over time. Better to store the spoon separately and use it to scoop as needed 🙂
How many folders can Wall Street hold?
Wall Street fits roughly 18–24 folders, depending on how thick the documents inside each one are 🙂
My order is a gift. Can you at least wrap it up or put it in a paper bag?
Yes we'd love to help with that! Our Gifting Kit comes with our Mayfair & Co. branded gift bag (or box), ribbon, gift card, and label application — priced by kit size.

Yes, absolutely — we love a thoughtful giveaway! You can send the items you'd like included directly to our studio in Diliman, Quezon City and we'll handle the packing on our end.

Do you accept rush orders?
Our standard lead time is 7–10 working days, though we'll always try to ship earlier when we can.

Can I add more to my order? (unprocessed)
This applies if the order hasn't been processed yet.

Yes you can! Here's how to do it cleanly:

  1. Place a new order on the website within 3 days of the original
  2. In SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS at checkout, write: "Please ship with Order xxxx" (your first order number)
  3. Choose PICK-UP at shipping options so you're not charged twice for delivery

Once you've placed it, send us the new order number here and we'll tag both orders together so they ship as one 🙂

Can I add more to my order? (processed already)
Your order has already been processed, so we typically can't add more at this stage — but let me check with the fulfillment team to see if there's still a way to combine. Back in a moment with an update 🙂 Check with the fulfillment team if the order has been shipped. If not, try to request if we can combine orders.
Is pick up faster than delivery?
The production time is the same either way — pick-up just skips the courier transit at the end. If you're in QC and want it the moment it's ready, pick-up is the quickest route 🙂
How much are your shipping rates?
Shopify calculates the rate automatically at checkout based on the customer's address and order weight. Rates are weight-based across 5 zones, up to a 20 kg cap. Use the card below when a customer asks before checkout — quote only their zone + weight bracket, not the whole list.

Can you book Grab / Lalamove?
We'd love to help with that, but our packing team can't book third-party couriers on your behalf — we keep them focused on production.

If you'd like to use Grab or Lalamove, you're welcome to book it yourself and have them pick up at our studio. We'll have your order packed and ready to go 🙂

Can I request another / different courier?
We ship nationwide exclusively with JRS — they've been a reliable partner for how we pack, and it lets us guarantee the handling standard end-to-end.

If you'd prefer a different courier, you're welcome to arrange the booking yourself and we'll have your order ready for pick-up at our studio in Diliman 🙂

Can I pay upon picking up?
Sadly no — our studio isn't set up to accept payments on-site, so we keep all transactions through the website or our payment links to make sure everything's properly recorded.

Once your order is paid, pick-up is a quick in-and-out 🙂

Recommendations

"What should I use for…" questions. Use these to upsell the right product.

I'll be storing sweet items. Can you recommend an item?
For anything sweet, always go screwcap — they're the most reliable against the relentless PH ant problem. Our go-tos:

Burgundy Extra Wide — our pantry bestseller (the 1.6L especially) • Napa Big Bertha — for bulk sugar, brown sugar, oats • Sicily Slim — for smaller quantities or narrow shelf gaps

The Burgundy is the one most customers come back for — wide opening, easy to scoop, and the screwcap is a proper airtight seal 🙂 Send photo.

What can you recommend for baking items?
For baking, we'd point you to our Minimalist Bins — Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane. Clear lids so you can see what you've got at a glance, and they stack neatly to save shelf space.

Melbourne 3.4L is the workhorse for flour or sugar, Adelaide and Sydney for smaller stuff like baking soda, cornstarch, or sprinkles 🙂

I need big containers.
Napa Big Bertha is the one — holds up to 3L and has a proper screwcap for an airtight seal. It's what we'd reach for ourselves for bulk pantry staples like flour, rice, or dog food.

The screwcap also makes it ant-proof, which matters more than people realize 🙂

What can I use for storing Pasta?
Two options depending on the pasta, plus one for lasagna:

Burgundy Extra Wide 1.6L — fits spaghetti, fettuccine, linguine. Wide screwcap, airtight, ant-proof. • Tuscany 1.8L — same long-pasta capacity but with a silicone lid (a bit more pour-friendly, slightly less airtight). • Melbourne 3.4L (food-grade acrylic) — the one for lasagna sheets, wide enough to lay them flat.

If you're keeping a few kinds together on a shelf, the Burgundy line in a set is the cleaner look. Happy to help you pick if you share what you're storing 🙂

What can you recommend for medicine?
For vitamins and medicine, we'd suggest only decanting what you take regularly — keep the rest in original packaging for expiry tracking.

Quick size guide based on tablet count: • Marrakech — around 100 tablets • Sicily Slim 335mL — around 300 tablets • Burgundy Extra Wide 500mL — 300+ tablets

The Burgundy is our pick if you want it to sit nicely on a bathroom or bedside shelf 🙂

Which spice jar should I get?
Depends on how you use the spice!

• If you measure or hand-pick (sea salt, peppercorns, whole spices): Marrakech — open jar, easy access. • If you shake straight onto food (paprika, oregano, garlic powder): Madrid (acacia shaker lid) or Osaka (lighter bamboo shaker).

Most kitchens end up needing both — Marrakech + Madrid pair beautifully on a spice shelf since they're the same warm wood family 🙂

What about items that need to be refrigerated? (fruits, veggies, kimchi etc.)
Our Minimalist Bins are made for the fridge — they stack, so you can use the vertical space, and the clear sides let you see what's in there without opening everything.

Great for kimchi, fruits, prepped veggies, leftovers — anything you want to keep visible and organized 🙂

Can we put any soap with your decanters?
Yes any soap works! Personally we love cream-based soaps — Dove is a favorite. They tend to be gentler on the pump mechanisms and don't react with the metal hardware over time 🙂
What label can you recommend for my container?
Ask the customer to send the dimensions / measurements of her containers. Once you know the size of the label needed, provide the best option.

Happy to help — could you share the dimensions of the containers (width and height)? Once we know the size, we can recommend the right label format.

Example reply: For baskets like yours, we'd suggest our Bristol Metal Clips — the adjustable hook lets you move them between baskets, and the labels themselves come free with the clips 🙂

Do you customize labels?
Custom labels aren't available through Shopee — they're a website-only service. Head to mayfairhome.co and you'll see the full customization options at checkout 🙂
Can I combine my orders from Shopee and your website?
Sadly no — Shopee handles their own logistics, so we can't combine a Shopee order with one from our website. They ship separately on each platform's timeline.
Can you change the labels from xxx to yyy? (Unprocessed)
If the label is available in the options, we can note it on the order. If not, advise the customer to visit our website.

Are Factory Outlet items okay to use?
Yes — Factory Outlet items are 100% functional and brand new. They just didn't pass our (admittedly very strict) QA — usually a small scratch or a white skid mark, all surface-level. Rather than waste them, we send them to loving homes at a discount.

Staging Inquiry — First Touch & Handover
Use when: a DM comes in asking about home staging. Send the warm opener, collect the basics, then hand off to Imee in Viber with the details. Do not quote fees or schedule the ocular yourself — that's the staging team's call.

Damage, Labels, Pumps, Spouts

Always ask for photos/videos first. If the issue is confirmed, post to Slack order issues and tag Imee, Iris, Joan for replacement.

Before opening anything else, could you send a photo of the box/es as they arrived? Couriers handle our packages a few times in transit, and the outer condition tells us exactly where things went wrong.

Once we have that we'll move on the replacement.

Missing Labels

Damaged Labels
Oh no — so sorry about this!

From the photo, it looks like the label was scratched by something external rather than the label itself failing — an adhesive issue would peel from the corners or edges, while these marks are sharp and in the center.

We're happy to replace it this time so you can move on. Just a friendly heads up that scratches and abrasions on labels come from external contact rather than the label, so do try to be gentle when handling them on hard surfaces 🙂

Pump not working (new pumps)
No worries — new pumps usually just need a quick prime to get going. Try this:
  1. Make sure the pump is screwed on tightly to the bottle (not just resting on top).
  2. Press the pump rapidly 20–30 times — that flushes out the trapped air and gets the liquid climbing up the stem.
  3. If something feels stuck in the tubing, run water through the pump hole while pressing rapidly. That clears out any debris.

Let us know how it goes — a quick video helps if it's still not behaving. If priming doesn't fix it, we'll happily replace it for you 🙂

Pump not working (used / old pump)
From how it's pumping, sounds like there's a bit of debris stuck in the tubing. Try this:
  1. Run water through the pump hole while pressing it rapidly — that flushes anything inside.
  2. Screw it back on the bottle tightly.
  3. Prime it by pressing rapidly 20–30 times.

That usually does the trick! Let us know if it sorts itself out 🙂

Rusted / Tarnished Madison Pump
Oh no — could you let us know what soap you've been using? Some soaps (especially harsher dish soaps) react with the electroplated gold finish over time.

What we can do is replace the gold pumps with our Snow White pumps, which don't have that reactivity issue. Going forward, cream-based soaps like Dove pair best with your Madison decanters 🙂

Containers not the same height / symmetrical
Hi! Could you send us a photo so we can take a look?

Our containers are handblown, which means slight variations in height and symmetry are part of the craft — no two pieces are ever exactly identical. That's what gives each one its character. But if what you're seeing looks beyond the usual variation, let us know and we'll sort it 🙂 Wait for the customer to respond. If they insist on a replacement, notify Imee and Joan.

Puglia spout is stuck
Sounds like there's salt build-up around the neck — common over time with oil and vinegar use.

Easy fix: empty the cruet and run hot water over the neck. The heat melts the build-up and the spout should loosen right up. Let us know how it goes 🙂

FullFill — when to escalate

  • Customer complaint or negative sentiment
  • Manual order support (custom, bulk, off-platform payment, gifting)
  • Damaged / wrong / missing items
  • Anything you're unsure about — default to escalate when off-script

Joan & Diane — direct authority

  • Order status, tracking, shipping confirmation
  • Stock availability and restock ETAs
  • Label corrections and production-side errors
  • Damaged / wrong / missing item complaints — full authority to ship replacements at any value, no Steve approval needed
  • Refunds and store credit always escalate to Steve — JD does not issue money-out resolutions
  • VIP / staging clients: JD retains the same replacement authority, but must flag the case in Viber so Steve sees it (awareness, not approval)

Steve — everything else

  • Complaints that need a judgment call, refund decisions, store-credit issuance
  • Manual orders (corporate gifting, bulk, off-platform invoicing, payment link generation)
  • VIP customers and staging-client overlap
  • Edge cases FullFill or JD flag

Voice & Tone

Warm, polite, brand-aligned. Premium but approachable — not flowery, not transactional.

  • Address customers by first name when known
  • Acknowledge the concern before resolving: "So sorry to hear about the damaged Napa 2L — let's get that sorted."
  • Avoid corporate hedging like "we apologize for any inconvenience caused"
  • On IG/FB DM specifically: shorter, slightly more casual; emoji OK if the customer used them first
  • For complaints: lead with empathy → resolution → policy reference (not the other way around)
